About this tournament

Welcome to the Field of Eric Jubin's Dreams... The Sugar Land Showdown!!
For 9 years this annual January event has started the official year in the H-town area with a fast filling, sold out, charity fundraising event on the technically challenging layout dreamed up and continually tweaked by EJubin! With the tremendous and ongoing support of the Sugar Land Parks & Recreation and the unchanged dedication of the event founder (Jubin) and event admin (SV DGProShop) together with the dedicated volunteer staff and then adding a $10 per player donation since 2016, this event has raised over $3500 for the Child Advocates of Fort Bend County (CAFB).

Because of the popularity of the SLSD and the years of experience running it, this year we've decided to expand the field so more area players can enjoy the once a year layout. The event will host 110 players with a staggered opening of divisions. Caps will be in place to start (and we highly suggest you register at the appropriate time to guarantee your spot). Caps will be lifted on January 10th and waitlist spots will be filled in order of registration, regardless of division. IF the event fills to capacity (which it has a very high percentage of years this has happened), we will raise an estimated $1100 for CAFB for the 2020 event.

All players (Pro & Am) will receive a custom stamped event disc. Free pizza and drinks is included for on-site lunch as well.

Entry Fee breakdown:
$2 to PDGA
$10 to Child Advocates of Fort Bend
Remainder to Payout

Optional Ace Pot entry will be collected on site at morning check-in.

Added cash:
$500 to Pro divisions (payout to top 40% of each division)
$1200 to Am divisions (payout to top 45% of each division)

The DGProShop trailer will be onsite for all your disc golf merchandise needs as well as Amateur payout.

Friday, January 3rd @ 12 Noon – Registration opens for:
ALL players rated 900+ -- MA2 (15 Spots)

Sunday, January 5th @ 12 Noon – Registration Opens for everyone – MA3 (12 spots)

Friday, January 10th @ 12 Noon – Division caps are lifted

Waitlist spots will be filled in order of registration, regardless of division.

Requests to move divisions will be considered after division caps are lifted and permitted solely at the TD’s discretion.

NO added cash to divisions with less than three players

TD reserves the right to cancel divisions with less than three players and offer effected players either a refund or opportunity to change divisions (with potential change in entry fee required).
