About this tournament

And we’re back for another year of disc golf! We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
Kicking off 2024, the Spring Open is a sanctioned C-tier and will be a 1-day, 2-round tournament. Both rounds will have tee-time starts, and cards will be reshuffled for round 2 based on the results of round 1.
2024 OCC Tour
The top three finishers in each division will qualify for spot in Ontario Provincials. The winners of MA3 and FA3 will be eligible to reserve a place in MA2 and FA2.
To qualify for Provincials, your ODSA membership must be current.
Registration and Discounts
- Division caps will be in place for the first 48 hours of open registration.
- We’re reserving 30% of all spots for women’s divisions for the first 48 hours.
- After 48 hours, these caps will be lifted and remaining spots will be filled from the waitlist.
- Early registration is available for members. Contact Cam to request the password.
- Discount of $5 for Stone’s Throw members (check the box on the registration form!). You must be a fully paid member for 2024 BEFORE you register for this discount to apply.

- White-White: MPO / FPO / MP40 / MP50 / MA1
- White-Red: FP40 / FA1 / MA40 / MA50 / MA2
- Red-Red: FP50 / MP60 / FP60 / FA40 / FA50 / MA60 / FA60 / MA70 / FA70 / FA2 / MA3 / FA3 / MJ15 / FJ15 / MJ10 / FJ10
Amateur Player Packs and Prizes
- Player packs will feature a custom stamped tournament disc in premium plastic from Innova.
- Merch-out: Top 45% of finishers in each division win a payout voucher for our on-site vendor DiscDeals.ca.
Pro Payout
- Compete for 100% of the entry fee minus pass-through fees†.
- The top 40% of each pro division will receive payout (via PayPal transfer).
Division Winner Trophies
- Presented immediately following completion of each division’s second round. (All are welcome to stay and socialize afterwards!)
- Division winners will also receive a coveted bottle of Barry’s homemade maple syrup.
Practice Rounds and PDGA League
- Non-member practice rounds are $10 for a day-pass.
- If you’re interested in sanctioned play at the course before the tournament, join us for Puddle Stomp League on Saturdays from March 2 to April 6. (Ask Cam for details.)
Food Vending
We’re in discussion with a caterer to provide pre-ordered lunch on-site. Information about the meal options and ordering will be shared with players once registration settles.
Camping
- $5 per person each night (Friday and/or Saturday).
- Space for tents and vehicles available
- Amenities include a grill (bring your own food), fire pit + wood, outhouses, and potable water stations.
- We’re flexible about camping arrangements – last minute decisions are welcome!
Ace Pot
There will be an optional $5 ace pot. Sign up during registration if you’d like to participate!

- †Pass-through fees: All entry fees, amateur and pro, include a pass-through fee of $2 PDGA fee + $10 green fee + $2 TD admin fee + $3 outhouse rental fee + $3 OCC series fee.
- All entry fees and payouts include HST.
