~San Francisco Open Amateur (C Tier) → OTB Open - Amateur & WGE (A Tier)~

The OTB Open presented by Innova - Amateur and WGE will feature competition over 3 days and a large amateur-only playing field. A partnership with OTB Discs aligns with our plans to scale our PDGA Elite Series and Amateur events by making our tournament-branded products available to a much wider audience. ~Women’s Global Event~
We are excited to join many other events being organized around the world as part of the WGE. While our event will feature 3 rounds, only rounds 2 & 3 will be used for the WGE format. To ensure we can accommodate as many women competitors as possible, we are providing an early registration period to all FA & FJ divisions. We will add / adjust division caps based on the total number of remaining spots at the end of the early registration period(s). ~True Amateur Event~
This event will meet all criteria for a “true amateur” event and as such will be trophy-only. While there will be no traditional scrip payouts, the players’ pack items will be of significant value. In addition, the winners of the MA1 and FA1 divisions will receive free entry into the DGPT event to be held the following weekend!

~San Francisco → Stockton | Gleneagles → Swenson~
About an hour and a half drive east of SF, Stockton is known for supporting disc golf and for having one of the most active disc golf clubs in the state. 1000 Rated Productions and Team OTBO couldn’t be happier to partner with Stockton and the Delta Windjammers for this event!

Leonard Muise of Whirlwind Disc Golf has been very busy designing a completely new course at Swenson Park Golf Course. The course will feature four layouts to ensure all divisions are challenged based on their skill level. MA1 and FA1 will play the DGPT MPO and FPO layouts, respectively. Due to the nature of the vastly expanded course, players should note that these layouts will not be available for practice prior to the event.

For people who would like to support this event, we will be offering a maximum of 36 spots during an early registration period. The cost is $100 over the standard entry fee(s). Each division has a limited amount of sponsor spots available. Should a division’s allocated slots be filled while other division’s spots remain available, please reach out to [email redacted] and we will grant (potential) leftover sponsor spots in the order that requests arrive.

We will be reserving 22 spots for volunteers who contribute significant time and effort into helping us ensure the success of these events. We'll publish more information soon.

~Use of Limited Exceptions~
Our team will ensure that the use of limited exceptions (hole sponsorships & volunteers) meet the criteria and intent established by 1.02 in the PDGA competition manual. The number of players gaining entry into the event using these exceptions will not exceed 33% of the field or 50% of any given division.
