It's BACK!!

The Savannah Disc Golf Association presents the 2021 Macomber Madness Presented by Specialty Sports and VOS Electric!

This event is an urban-style disc golf tournament held at the Macomber Park Recreation Complex in Rincon, GA. This year we shifted the schedule back to allow players the ultimate experience of playing at night! You don't need any glow discs either! The entire course will be illuminated by the soft glow of the Macomber ball field lights!

Players will have to showcase their skills as they navigate around the buildings, backstops, batting cages and more for a truly unique disc golf experience. This is not wide-open park disc golf... this course will require accuracy, commitment, and skill to shoot low. This will truly be a memorable disc golf weekend! We're thankful to the SDGA, the City of Rincon, the Rincon Recreation Department, and Specialty Sports for their support of this event!

This is a PDGA Sanctioned B-tier event with $1,000 Added Cash for our pro players!

The course will be open for practice Thursday and Friday before the event.

BYOP FRIDAY DOUBLES

Join us Friday Night to practice the course in a fun round of BYOP Doubles!

We tee off at 6:30 PM Friday night! There will be cash prizes for the top finishers!

Pre-registration is preferred! If you don't have a teammate, that's OK! Sign up as a single player and you will be randomly partnered at the event!

We will also accept walk up registrations for doubles!

PLAYER'S PARTY

Join us for an awesome KARAOKE Player's Party Saturday night at Riley's in Rincon! We're tentatively set up to start at 9:30 PM, but the restaurant is open until midnight so feel free to come by whenever you want! There will be food, cold drinks, and KARAOKE! Meet some of your fellow players and make some great memories! Don't forget, round three doesn't start until 1 PM on Sunday, so have some fun and stay up late with us! PRIZES:

The top finishers in each division will receive payouts according to their classification below:

- Professional players will be playing for cash purse

- Amateur players will be playing for merchandise credits through our on-site vendor

ACE POOL:

All aces hit during the event will be eligible for Ace Pool winnings. To win, players must buy-in to the Ace Pool at registration or at check-in. Winnings will be split between all players who hit an ace. If no ace is hit, there will be a CTP throw-off and the closest three finishers will split the pot 1st - 60%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 10%.

MERCH CTPS

There will be multiple free CTP’s available for all divisions during the event. You do NOT need to buy in to be eligible for these prizes. A full list of holes and eligible divisions will be in the player’s guide.

CASH CTPS:

There will be three cash CTP's during the event. To win, players must buy-in to the Cash CTP at registration or at check-in.

DIVISIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- We are opening all PDGA divisions for registration

- All divisions must have at least three players to be considered official

- Divisions without three players will be consolidated before the event

- MA4, MA3, MA2 will be limited to 20 players each

- Wait-lists will be cleared in first come, first serve order except MA4, MA3, MA2 which will be cleared in order within the division

SAFE PLAY:

We will be practicing social distancing and following all local regulations during this event. Online payment for extras is preferred. Cash prizes will be made electronically.

Refunds and cancellations will be handled by the Savannah Disc Golf Association per Competition Manual for Disc Golf Events section 1.03 Withdrawals and Refunds.
