Lexington Open XXV will be an A-tier for Open players only this year. The reason for the split of the Ams and Pros was to give our amateur players an opportunity to see the best local players perform. To accommodate the possibility of spectators, I have chosen to use Graviss McDonald Falling Springs in Versailles Ky and Jacobson Park in Lexington Ky.
Your tournament schedule is as follows:
Friday May 12th - Falling Springs
Saturday May 13th - Jacobson Park (Primary Layout)
Sunday May 14th - Jacobson Park (Alternate Layout)
The plan was to start at Jacobson on Friday, but we are unable to use Falling Springs on Saturday. We will be using one layout at Jacobson on Saturday and we will changeup some of the pin locations on Sunday.
This year there will be a minimum of $3,000 added cash spread throughout the entire Open field.
Tee Times and start times will be updated as we get closer to the event.
The BDGA and The Lexington Open have a Hotel Agreement with the Clarion Hotel Conference Center - North. The hotel is located at 1950 Newtown Pike, Lexington Ky. 40511. The phone # is 859-255-3281. We have secured a room rate of $110/night for you and any parties that will be joining you for the event. We highly suggest booking early due to the fact that the weekend of the Lex Open is also Derby weekend. Hotels may be hard to come by and prices may be higher than usual. There is very nice restaurant attached to this venue and the geography allows easy access to I-64 and I-75.
Please mention the Bluegrass Disc Golf Association and the Lexington Open when securing your room. If there are any issues please mention Scott Hait, he is the person we have worked with to secure the rooms.
