This year marks the second iteration of the annual Kingston Downs Classic! This year the Kingston Downs Classic is a B-Tier played over two days, one round each day.
Kingston Downs is a family-owned and operated 5,000+ acre property situated on the Etowah River, conveniently located a few miles outside of Rome, GA and 45 minutes north of metro Atlanta. Our course will be set on a small section of the property with the Pavilion serving as tournament central. Camping is available on site for Friday and Saturday night.
The course is designed for Advanced/Open players but with its mostly open fairways, anyone who is an experienced tournament disc golf player should be able to easily navigate the course. Because this course is designed for higher level players, there will be no Recreation, Novice, or Juniors divisions offered. Everyone will play from the same tees to the same baskets. Other divisions, while open to sign up, will be consolidated if necessary.
The course will be open to practice Friday all day for everyone!
$20 valued player pack with a $40 course fee that Pros and Ams must pay. Course fee includes (Facility rentals/ basket rentals/ bathrooms/ insurance etc. ) Player pack TBA.
Players party/ field games Saturday afternoon after competition with Drowned Valley Brewery serving beer!!
Camping included Friday and Saturday night.
There are a number of Cabins and Glamping tents that can be rented for the event through the Kingston Downs website. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about them.
