About this tournament
Thank you to all of our sponsors, including Innova Disc Golf, IUP Student Co-op, Indiana Schwinn, and Grip It and Rip It Disc Golf.
*MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1, FA1 divisions play on Saturday; all other Amateur divisions and Juniors play on Sunday.
This event is sanctioned as a PDGA B-tier for professional players and a C-tier tournament for all amateur players. $1,000 added to the pro purse. Amateur players will receive at least 115% of their net entry fee value in Innova player packages, CTP prizes, and 1st/2nd/3rd place trophies for divisions of 8 or more. This is a True Amateur event.
NOTE: in 2024, players entering a B-tier tournament must be current PDGA members. Minimum 4 players needed to form a division. Amateur players who are not current PDGA members must pay $10 temp PDGA member fee. PDGA temp fees for women and juniors are waived, sponsored by Grip It and Rip It Disc Golf.
$8 of each entry goes to PDGA player fees ($3), Grip it and Rip It Disc Golf event management ($3), and the Western PA Series ($2).
PDGA Official Rules of Disc Golf are in effect: https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf
Scoring will be handled through the PDGA live scoring app. Beginning in 2024, each competitor must keep score for their entire card to ensure accuracy. The primary method of scoring is the PDGA Live Scoring App, and paper score cards are optional for backup. All competitors must submit an accurate scorecard within 30 minutes of completing their round.
All players will play two rounds with a lunch break in between. Round 1 shotgun start at 9am. Round Two will start at 1pm, or one hour after the last card is submitted.
Lunch will be available from two vendors this year. On Saturday Danny's Tacos will be available and on Sunday the Pa BBQ PigRig will be on site for players that wish to partake.
Children age 13 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.

The Western PA Series will consist of several events over the course of 2024. Anyone who enters one of the events this season will be entered to win their division's WPAS Trophy at the final event of the season. The series works by allotting points based on the percent of the field you beat in your division at each event plus additional points for podium finishes. The WPAS Finale will count as DOUBLE POINTS. At the end of the season, per division, the individual with the most points in their division will be crowned winner with a WPAS Division Championship Trophy and additional payout collected from the events prior. NOTE: If you play multiple divisions, either playing both days or changing divisions between events, we will track both, but you will only be eligible to win a single division at the end of the season (whichever is the more advanced of the two)
