About this tournament
Welcome to the Hinson Lake BYOP Doubles Showdown!
Cost:
$50 per team (CTPs $4 per player; $2 PDGA Fee, $1 per player to operations)
Pro: Payout will be the remaining $18 per player from entry fees.
Am: Payout will be $18 per player goes towards payout via OTB Gift Card Credit
45% of Pro and Am will receive payout once the final results are posted.
Divisions:
MPO and FPO - Professional players accepting cash
Advanced/Blue - Highest Rated Player <970
Recreational/Red - Highest Rated Player <900
Novice/Green - Highest Rated Player <850
Format:
XC-Tier
2-Rounds
19-Hole Tournament Layout (some alternate tee pad locations for the higher level divisions)
Round 1: Captains Choice/Best Shot - Both players will throw their drive on each hole, and the team will play from the best throw of the two. This sequence of taking the best shot will continue until a team has finished the hole.
Round 2: Alternate Shot - Each team will pick a player to tee off on the odd holes (Player A) and the even holes (Player B). Player A will tee off of Hole 1, and then Player B will take the next shot. The alternating of shots will continue until the team has finished the hole. No one player should ever tee off on back to back holes.
