About this tournament
2 rounds of play
- The point series is a collection of 5 PDGA C-tier events, in which points are accumulated to qualify for the final non-sanctioned cash payout event. The 5 sanctioned events will be 1 day 2 round C-Tiers.
-Each qualifying event will have 3 options for ams player pack.
(Option 1) Tournament premium Disc or 2 tournament putters $25ish value
(Option 2) DD Snapback Hat plus Quick Dry Towels $30 value
(Option 3) Neck Gaiter plus 2 Quick Dry Towels $28 value
Pros will be paid by PayPal and trophies will be provided for the top finisher(s) in each division.
-If no one has registered for a specific division. That division will be removed 30 days after registration has opened for the tournament to make room for waitlisted players.
- $5 from the amateurs and pros registration fee will go towards there divisions for the unsanctioned finals added cash
- $5 from each registration fee will go towards pdga, bathroom and green fees
- In the occurrence no aces are hit at an event, the ace pool will carry over to the next event. Players must pay in to the ace pool for each event in order to qualify. If an ace is not hit at the finals there will be a throw off for the ace pool.
- Points are awarded based on your finish within the qualifying event. A player will receive 1 point for playing and 1 point for each player they beat. Bonus points will be awarded for top 3 place finishers (1st place - 3 points, 2nd place - 2 points, 3rd place - 1 point). Divisions must have at least Three participants to be awarded points. You will still be awarded a point for playing if less then 3 in your division.
-Division-specific points: Points are earned and tracked separately for each division you play in.
-No carryover: If you switch divisions mid-season, your points from the previous division do not count towards your new division's ranking.
Qualifying Events:
- April 12th at Hope Lake DGC at Greek Peak
- May 10th at Central Park Schenectady
- June 7th at Parma
- June 28 at Royalton Ravine
- August 9th at Sullivan
Qualification for the Finals
- Minimum 2 qualifying events, all 5 events will count towards point total.
- Total qualifying spots based on division participants
- If a player plays in all 5 qualifying events, they will be given a 2 stroke advantage in the Final event.
- Tiered registration based on points. Top spots first then descending to the next spot until filled.
- Timeline will be posted prior to registration opening for Finals.
-We reserve the right to change qualifying spots based on total participants in each division.
-Cost for Finals is $75 for Pros and $30 for Ams
The Female Amateur Divisions will be combined to FA1. FA1 in all the series tournaments will be the short layout for both rounds. I am doing this primary because this is a point series and you need 3 people in a division to get points, If there is less then 3 players you still get 1 point for player participation. I choose FA1 because that will give you the most pdga points also. The point series will still offer FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4 and FA40 because I have to offer them per PDGA. Please choose FA1. Finals:
September 20th at Parma
- 2 rounds stroke play, cumulative score.
- 1st and 2nd round-shotgun start
- A cut will be made after the 1st round
-Each qualifying event will have 3 options for ams player pack.
