About this tournament
2 rounds of play
The Southwest Collegiate Disc Golf Conference is here! We are excited to host this years qualifier for our brand new conference which features 3 bids up for grabs that will allow your team to compete in DI at the College Disc Golf Nationals Tournament.
If you are new to the college disc golf scene, the format follows the college disc golf team doubles play rules. You form a team of 4 players: two doubles pairs, one as the odd pair and one as the even. On odd holes the odd pair tees off, and the even pair plays from the best shot and the pairs alternate until the hole is complete. No matter which pair putts out the pair that tees off depends on if the hole is odd or even to make sure that each pair tees off the same number of times.
Your school can only earn one bid for collegiate nationals, so if you have multiple teams you would like to bring I would suggest having your top team compete in the qualifier and have your other teams sign up for the Poly Pop Up which is unsanctioned and will have divisions for our JV college teams. The entry fee for the qualifier is $200 per team, which is $50 per player and includes a players pack and lunch. The Poly Pop Up is $40 per player or $160 per team as their is no sanctioning fee for the Pop Up.
The contents of the players pack and layout of the course will be announced soon!
