2023 TEXAS STATE DOUBLES DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!

Good evening everyone. Let me start by thanking all of you for your patience. In our efforts to get as many of you in as possible, there were a lot of moving parts. The response to our changes this year has been tremendous. In saying that, these fields are by far the largest divisional numbers we have ever seen for this event.
Many of you have inquired about pool assignments. Tonight, I’m happy to announce the pool assignments for the MARCH 4-5 event. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION!!!!

POOL A: MANDATORY FRIDAY CHECK IN!!! (One player can check in for the team)
MA1, MA3

POOL B: Recommended Friday check in.
MA2, FA1, FA2

ORDER OF PLAY:
SATURDAY ROUND 1: BEST SHOT
A POOL LAYOUT- 1-12, 15-23
B POOL LAYOUT- 1-3, 6, 10-23
SATURDAY ROUND 2: ALTERNATE SHOT
A POOL LAYOUT- 1-12, 15-23
B POOL LAYOUT- 1-3, 6, 10-23

SUNDAY ROUND 3: BEST SCORE
!!!!A POOL HAS A DIVISIONAL POOL SPLIT!!!!
Bottom 8 teams of MA3 will shift to B POOL!!!!
B POOL WILL HAVE THE EARLY BIRD ROUND
A POOL WILL HAVE THE MID MORNING ROUND.
ALL POOLS WILL PLAY HOLES 1-10, 16-23

After round 3, there will be division cuts to 50% of the field, followed by a Final 9.

FINAL 9 LAYOUT:
10, 16-17- Tough Shot
18-20- Best Score
21-23- Best Shot

A Pool, please note your Saturday rounds are 21 holes! This was necessary to accommodate the field sizes.
B Pool, your rounds are all 18 hole layouts.

I will have all rules up for all holes on Friday this week. Each team will receive a players guide at check in as well w all rules.

MARCH 11-12 pool information will be out in 2 weeks!

Refund policy

Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund (minus up to a $10 handling fee).
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping).
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through the waitlist. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping).
Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack. This does NOT apply to a waitlist player; 1.03.B
