Ohio River Valley Point Series

The Inaugural Ohio River Valley Points Series is proudly presented by the Southern Ohio Disc Golf Association. Created to highlight the growth of the sport along the Ohio River Valley, this series will highlight some of the best courses the area has to offer. The series will have six events spanning five courses in the area. Some dates are TBD, with DGScene pages coming soon for each event. The events will be: -April 5: Armco Open -May 3: Black Bear Open V (1.5x weighted) -June 15: Fire & Smoke Classic (1.5x weighted) -July 12: The Open at Johnson Farms -August 9: The Challenge at Hawk's Landing (*Capped to 45 players*) -September: Southern Ohio Classic, 9/20-21 (1.5x weighted) Points will be earned in the division played, and will be awarded on the basis of number of people you beat in your division, with an incentive bonus for podium finishes: -3 points awarded for parti ...

Points will be earned in the division played, and will be awarded on the basis of number of people you beat in your division, with an incentive bonus for podium finishes:
-3 points awarded for participation in the event
-2 points earned per player you beat in your division
-5 point bonus for a 3rd place finish
-10 point bonus for a 2nd place finish
-15 point bonus for winning the division
Points will be split evenly amongst any ties
