This series is designed to promote improvement through competition. It is the best way to improve your own game and the games of others at the same time. There will be four players that will be added to the Citadel Elite Disc Golf team at the end of the series. Here are the tiers:
Top tier: Open (The single player with the most points.)
Second Tier: Ladies (Anyone verified by PDGA or drivers license to be female qualifies)
Third Tier: Masters (Anyone age 40 and above qualifies)
Final Tier: Intermediate (This division is capped at 880 rated and below.)
If someone wins multiple tiers, they will be awarded the highest level tier they earned, and the next in line for points on the other tier(s) will assume that title.
Your average initial rating before the report is submitted for each event will be your points for the event. Your top 7 events will determine your total points. If you play more than 7 events, you drop your lowest rated events to get you down to your best 7 rated events.
Ex: If you play in 8 events and average ratings of 880, 890, 920, 915, 930, 802, 877 and 875, your total points will be 880+890+920+915+930+877+875=6287
Ties will be broken first by who earned the most PDGA points in the combined series events.
Don't worry if you don't have the most points in the tiers. I will give away prizes at the end of season via random draw. You earn 3 entries into the drawing for each event in which you compete.
