- Professional / Championship outdoor grade basket
- Indoor grade practice basket
- Rovic Cart
- Top of the line bags that would normally retail from $100-$300.
- MVP Disc Stations
- Smaller items for smaller divisions such as stools or retrievers.
Any division where the division winner has played at least 5 events will have a prize. As of 8/23/24 that's 8 divisions.
Players are only eligible for one prize. Points are not division specific, but a player can't 'play down' simply to win a division. As an example, if a player played 5 events in Division 'A', and then played 1 event in Division 'B' so that they would now lead Division 'B', they would not win Division 'B' simply because they played one event in that division at the end of the year.
HOW POINTS WILL BE AWARDED
In 2023 points were divisions specific which caused a few issues when an individual PDGA rating increased to the point where they were no longer eligible for the division they have the most points in.
How we are going to administer the new point system for 2024 will be each person will receive points for the entire field they beat. Each player will receive one point for each percent of the entire tournament field they beat.
The issue with this point format is when divisions play different layouts or play different days and the weather is significantly different than the other day. When these cases arise, I will put all of the players along with their preliminary round ratings, sort the data based on the aggregate round ratings, and then award points based on the percentage of the field beaten.
I do anticipate that there may be some 'glitches' in this format. I'm moving to awarded points in this manner so that people can freely move in different divisions.
