The 2023 Basket Bashers Amateur Tour presented by MVP Disc Sports will be a 12-event series that encompasses courses in the Triad, Triangle, and Eastern part of North Carolina. The 12 different events will cover multiple different courses and require a range of skill sets in order to finish well in each event. Most of the events will be a 2 round 1-day C tier, with only a few being two-day B tiers (North Carolina Amateur Showcase/Basket Bashers Amateur Tour Finale).
Here is the projected courses and dates (please keep in mind that dates and courses are subject to change due to unforeseen issues):
January 22nd - Farmville Municipal
February 12th – Sunset Park
March 19th - UNC
April 8th - Johnson St
May 13th – Cedar Rock Park
May 27 – East Clayton
June 25th – Patriot @ Triad Park
July 1st – Farmington Disc Golf Course
August 6th – Keeley Park
August 19-20 Jones Park
September 10th – Valley Springs Park
October 7-8 West Meadowbrook Park
Points Standings:
In this points series you get 2 points for every person that you beat in your division plus yourself. You also get an additional 5 points for winning your division! Your best 8 rounds count!
Example: I win the tournament in my division. There were 18 people signed up in my division, myself, and 17 others. Since I won, I got 41 points (18 x 2 +5).
Example: I finished 2nd in my division. There were 18 people signed up in my division, myself, and 17 others. Since I finished second, I got 34 points (17 x 2).
All of the points will be updated on Monday following the tournament. You can see the current points standings on the Basket Bashers Amateur Tour Facebook Page.
The overall division winner will be awarded an insane prize package from MVP. An MVP Black Hole Basket w/ transit carry case, an MVP Voyager Lite bag, and an MVP Rover Cart!

Payouts:
Thanks to MVP coming on as the title sponsor and what they are contributing to the tour the payouts for these events will be next level! 75% of your entry will be put right back into payout, and with MVP adding $500 of added cash PER event these payouts are going to be insane! To top it off we are going to payout 75% of the field!
Example: 72 players / $30 entry fee
75% of entry goes back to payout (%75 of 30 is 22.50)
22.50 x 72 = 1687.5 + $500 = 2187.50
For this example, total payout should equal 2187.50 for the event.
75% of 72 is 54.
Which means in this example when we payout 2187.50 to 54 players, the AVERAGE payout per player will be $40.50
THIS IS FOR EVERY SINGLE EVENT!!!!
If you’ve played a Basket Bashers event before then you already have an idea of how crazy our payouts are, but with MVPs support this is easily the most player friendly tour in the area.
