Played 2 new courses today. Sunny Hill and Shady Oaks IL.
Sunny hill was pretty awesome. 200-300 foot holes, alot of them aceable. Banged chains with a drive from my black XS on hole 3 but it didn't stick. However on my 3rd round I was joined a local Mr. Joe. His pumkin Roc did stick on hole 3 for a very impressive ace. Good form Joe, good form. See picture of him basking in the glory in my pics. Then off to the 18 hole Shady Oaks. Damn mapquest! I felt like the Kim family (tasteless joke) ... more

Back here in Chicago. Rained all week, so when I got up this morning and it was nice. I jetted on over to Willow Stream park. Drived within 20ft of basket one, reached for my Banger and shit. Left my putters and my midranges @ home. Found a play it agian sports and got me a soft magnet. Might just retire the Aviar.

Hey Mike, I see you're back home. How's it going? Is the Sidewinder doing OK for you? You didn't lose it, did you? Ha! I haven't been back to the course where it was lost, but the boys lost 8 discs that day and the man in charge says they drag the pond every so often and they have some of our discs on hand. He said a fellow that comes there has brought a friend along that was from the Chicago area and they probably found the disc when they got in the water looking for a lost disc.
Good luck and happy "disking".

More on the SideWinder Saga:
I really wonder how my Sidewinder got all the way to Paletine, MI. A correction to you little story is that the disc was lost on the 8th of August of this year, about 1 1/2 months ago. Anyway, it's remarkable. I saw your picture of hole 6 and the little fence you told me about. The disc was lost in a pond in Marion, IN on the course on the east edge of town. Marion has 2 courses. Anyway thanks for calling.

Yeah would love to go on the regular.. It was only the luck of the "flip" that I got Jesse. Only 8 people played today, so 4 groups broke up into 2 teams. I only won twelve dollars, but hey it was enough for lunch and few tall boys tonite.. I would love to play twin creeks, the pictures looked great. How is the weather over there? I wish there was like a tourney section that you could do your scores, but breaing it up seemed to work, since we did play two rounds... Cant wait to play wi ... more

It was awesome.. We played doubles, I had Jesse, as my partner. We were -6 under the first round, then went against Terry and John and beat them by 1 stroke, we had -10 on round two. On hole 16, both games shot from the senior centers parking lot and landed right under the basket for a birdie....

Played 5 rounds today. Found a Beat Beast off of hole 5 @ Twin Creeks park. Pretty cool short course. Check the pics I took of to get an idea. Gonna try to ACE one there before I leave. Then off to Willow Stream Park where the wind was overpowering on the first 7 holes. My dependable hyzer discs would stall out. It was rough. Had lunch and then went to Margerth Reimer Resevoir. Was doing pretty good till I shanked my Beast AGAIN on the SAME hole as yesterday. Spent an hour looking for it. Found ... more
