A solid course with some great trees, good lines, some good walking/hiking and a few holes with views down to lake tahoe. I’d gladly play again. With more practice could definitey improve my score. Trash cans and tables on most holes. Seats/log benches on others. Great tee pads. A- for people on trails, waiting a bit, and proximity to other activities. Great baskets. A solid way to enjoy my birthday.

Paid parking, which i'm cool with. Port-o-johns. Easy to find hole 1. And onto to hole 2 down the hill, to 3. Not sure when exactly the signs stop, but arrow stickers on the pins with directions to the next hole could be good! The course plays around a lovely hillside with oak trees, exposed rocks, poison oak, grasses and cattle. The views of Santa Rosa are pretty special. Growing up in SR/Windsor, and getting to walk above valley, with the fairgrounds, horse track, nearby neighborhood rooftops ...

Course is easy to find and good parking. Like most courses here in the East Bay it is only 9 holes. This course does offer a couple long holes and several short holes that require some precision. I like that below each basket there are some spray painted cement blocks that give a bit of direction for the following hole. Nice DGA mach V baskets! Hole one starts out with an easy RHBH Hyzer shot. Medium length hole. Probably 250ft. Avoid water on right. Easy birdie or ace hole. Almost aced th ...

The course is relatively long and challenging. There are a few holes with water hazards. Many of the holes have trees and other obstacles to go around. Some deceivingly long holes that are a challenge to get par if you slip on the grass. Much of the course is in and around the campus. At the wrong time there can be a lot of people walking around. Would I go back to play it again, maybe. There were some nice holes that I enjoyed, but others in the campus that I did not appreciate. I prefer to be ...

I think this is a nice 9 hole course. There are some easy holes here that people with some range can easily birdie or ace. Not a lot of overhead hazards or thick trees. Mostly free and clear. Nice to have a drinking faucet on the course. Easy parking. Great views of the surrounding hills. Solid course. Wasn't busy when I was there so I could play without waiting. But not an 18 hole course, lots of foot traffic on a few holes where you need to wait for families and kids in the park. More trash cans along the course would be nice. Course isn't very challenging. Good short course for families.

Good course. Great opportunities for hyzer/anhyzer through trees and around trees. I really, really liked playing in the redwoods and I enjoyed some of the longer holes and shorter holes because they required precise throws. If you throw correctly, you can get some great results…if not…"Bonk"..tree. 8-) The signage was good and I thought many of the holes were relatively challenging and easy to play. A few times I had to figure out where to go, but not a big deal. Some of the Tee p ...

I fell in love with disc golf after hearing so much about it after getting out of the army and enrolling at Sac State. disc golf, disc golf, disc golf. My then roommate and I bought a couple discs and gave it a go. Was awesome. The people here were friendly and patient. Being that I was a beginner I let many people play through, and being that I was a hard-partying Army vet, I ended up drinking and playing with a bunch of different players on different holes. Was more social than I anticipated, ...

The course is great, though it was better years ago when it was first built. Not as many people knew about it and it was still full of long grass, and smaller branches and trees. These have since been trampled and broken down or removed. Now green grass covers the fairways, which is nice, but not the same Safari feel it had before being rebuilt and improved upon. Anyone that played here in its early years will know what I mean. As for the course. Signage is great. Pin locations are great, an ...

Had heard decent reviews about this course. Heard that it has some nice holes, but some treacherous hills. The hike in is ok. Don't be so lazy people, give me a break. Heard from disc golf buddies that if your disc decides to roll down hill you will be chasing it for a couple holes back down the mountain. This happened to us. It is no joke. If you are lucky enough to have your disc not roll down the mountain then you can really have a good round. I liked the oak trees and views from the course. ...

Long, technical, beautiful, and treacherous at the same time. Not a great place for beginners to learn. It is covered in Poison Oak and many of the holes are near steep drop offs on mountains that are unforgiving. You make a bad throw and you can kiss that disc good bye. You try to find it and you will have poison oak (if allergic to it, I'm not), or risk injury. I have never been injured here searching for discs, but I am not the average player/hiker/explorer. Don't take me wrong, this is a gre ...

Amazing views. Beautiful terrain. Fun to play. Technical. One of my favorite holes I have played is here. Don't remember which one it is exactly, but the Pin is out on a point surrounded by cliffs. You can risk losing discs and going for an ace/birdie op, or you can go easy, and throw to the left, ensuring you don't lose discs. I went for it on my first and had a great throw. The second, not so much, and watched one of my favorite discs fly off into the horizon as far as the eye can see. If you ...

Good course. Hot, but nice. Some nice holes. Definitely worth doing when you do the other course. I did them both a couple years ago with my brothers.

You MUST play here if you like disc golf. This course is great. It is long, difficult, and in a beautiful location. Traversing a hillside above a lake and parallel to a golf course, it offers some of the best views in the area, with view homes or other man-made distractions. This was my go-to course in California. I saw deer, pig, Turkey, and geese/ducks here. Playing in the winter or summer can be wet, muddy and cold, or really hot and dry, with ticks, but it is worth it. I enjoy playing mo ...

The views are worth visiting this course alone. It highlights Sonoma County. Rolling hills, vineyards, nice homes, Eucalyptus trees, Oak trees, and of course poison oak. For those allergic to Poison Oak, be careful. The course itself is OK, and nothing better. Most of the holes are under the wide open sun, with no trees or challenging obstacles. There are couple nice holes, but other than that, this is not my go-to course in the area. I'd much rather drive to Novato. Having to pay for park ...

This courses nice. I am from Santa Rosa, ca. But played this while living in San Francisco. Friends and I would drive up and play this course, and sometimes we'd play one in Novato before or after. This course has some short worthless holes near the brewery. I skip those and go straight to hole 3 or four I think it is. Of all the times I have played here we were alone most of the times. I can't remember ever seeing more than a couple other people. Which is great because we'd just make up out ...

The course is nice. Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area I have played many different courses in the area. What I liked about this course is the views in the holes not in the forest of the surrounding alps. Gorgeous is the first word that comes to mind. Paying 7€, I think is not cool. Have played better courses for free. You have to pay for parking and to play. Not cool. But that does not affect my rating. The forest holes are the best. I prefer challenging, wooded holes with tight w ...
