Got to play the new layout this morning and after relaxing at home for a few thought I'd comment on it. Understanding new layout does not open officially till August, yes it is very rough in places and very tall grass though out if off narrow fairways at this time. I would imagine this will get resolved with more use and hopefully mowing by staff. My main problem in my opinion is some hole layout issues. I would imagine this will get resolved with more use and hopefully mowing by staff. My main problem in my opinion is some hole layout issues. Hole 1 is silly in my mind unless berry and scrub get removed from right side basket. Tee 2 is way to close to 1 basket and seems this was true in one or two other cases in my mind. Possibly hole 2 basket could get set deeper to make a better hole of it. On the other extreme were some long walks between basket and next tee pad. This leads me to wonder if best use of land available was used or thought about. There are tee signs just went up that help, except some blind shots, and they indicate next tee direction which helps. For just getting moved to new location course has potential in future and I will make new comments in couple three months from now. Open to comments but feel few things can be improved on in layout possibly. Glad to see any course go in, just like to see best use of what little land is left to put courses on, that's all.
