I would like to invite all disc golfers to join us at Camp Taloali on Saturday, May 13th for a open day of play on the course to come out to see and discuss what is going on with the course these days. It will also be a celebration for my 61st birthday which is actually the 11th. Fees will be waived for the day but donations will be accepted to help further improvements to course, no work required this day. Gate will be open by 9 am and open for the day so show up when you can. Hope to see lots of folks come and join us. Let's enjoy the day but do remember this is private land and we are the guests, so please respect that. Thank you and spread the word

If anyone has and can get a wheelbarrow and shovels to Woodmansee course tomorrow at 9, Myself and others will be there to start getting course in shape for upcoming event. Plenty to do, got chips to spread. Any and all help appreciated, plan on being there from about 8:30 till whenever. Thank you, if you can't help tomorrow but want to at some other time just let me know. I'd like to see course in top shape by event.

Happy Holidays to all wherever you are, and whatever you are doing for them. It's been a good year for disc golf and some of our courses getting maintained and improved. It will only get better for us all next year with new and big things happening for our sport locally and around the world. Good day and early Christmas present for our course. All the temporary tee signs and course sign on kiosk (small on front, larger on backside) are installed. This has been a fun project over the last few weeks, but largest course I've done so far. From getting GPS points to get close and then tape measure all the distances. This data then got turned into the satelite image course map with fairways, all basket locations, and all tee pads, and distances on it. Then the tee signs were taken from that information and turned into at least basic information for now on them. I may add a few more details on them later as time allows but should be ample to assist both new players and old timers alike. To best of my knowledge this is the most complete signage this course has seen. I can only wait and see now what the final signage will look like and who will be doing it. Hawg Farm Putting League Fall / Winter Series. The grounds are clean and ready for use, leaves and limbs cleared, lawn mowed, fresh distance lines and night lighting when needed. Looking for ideas and folks that might be interested in doing something. Let me know what time and days work and see what can be put together for benefit of all interested. Get a group of 4-10 seems to have worked out good on trial run this summer. Open to ideas, comments, and suggestions. Let's keep our putting game up this winter.

I will need to cancel Hawg Farm Putting league Sunday evening as I will be spending day at Champoeg course assisting with scheduled work party. I will probably not be back in time as will be spending time with my disc golfers from up North. Come join us as giving back to our sport is a good thing. Let's think about a early start BBQ for next weekend if anyone interested.
