Volunteering at Johnson Park Championships, working at Brewer Park DGC both Saturday and Sunday. The point is that voluntary work is just that, no pay. We go in with no expectations and come out with literally hundreds of thankful disc golfers saying thanks for spotting and more who have no idea

There are 10 baskets including the practice basket on the hill next to the skatepark.

June 10 I am planning to be at Allegan Bridge Fest with a portable basket and will promote the new disc golf course downtown Allegan at Jaycee Park. Bridge fest activities will be near the boardwalk, library area

Worked about 5 hours yesterday at Jaycee Park downtown Allegan then from before 10 am until around 5 pm today at Brewer park DGC in Kent county south of Grand Rapids. Much was accomplished!

Baskets for Jaycee Park in downtown Allegan will be in mid-May. Red Veteran Baskets. Signage not done but flags are out. 9 holes with red, white and blue tees. Totally beginners course. Contact me to impart your knowledge and wisdom although I have been advised by 2 excellent experienced course designers. The goal is to have a great place for an experienced player to bring children, spouses, parents and any new players to learn about disc golf.

Having a great time in the league. We have laughed a lot,. I have had a few great for me shots and I am meeting great people all while, believe it or not, increasing my skills.

Trying to get a little more plugged into the disc golf scene. I very much enjoy the people meet on the courses. It is a big part of what makes this activity/sport so special. Seems like everyone is encouraging, helpful and considerate. Where else can one go and experience that?

I love disc golf and I am trying to get better at it. I practise nearly everyday and most of the time many times a day. I am not at courses as often as I would like but I am working on that. Certainly I desire to play in a league, I just had been as aware of leagues in the past. I am grateful for this tool to learn and play more often.
