This course is short, and only nine holes. But it came out of nowhere and is a good way to spend a half hour if in the area. They have alternate tee areas that make it possible to throw 18 "holes" at the nine baskets. Ace runs are the rule, but there are a few holes around 300 ft and 1 or two in some tight trees that actually remind me of the back nine at killens, long rows of pines I think. Like the first review noted, this is a "freebie" course that came out of nowhere thanks to a boy sc ...

Lums is an average to slightly better than average course. More woods than the other local courses exept of course for Iron Hill. (The trees to brandywine's breeze) The course has tight but fair fairways most of the time, with a few open shots mixed in as well. There are a few holes that seem dumb to me though. More about luck then truly skilled shots. I think its like 11 or 12 that im really thinking of here. Also the front nine can be a real swamp sometimes, the pond can literally over ...

Average Course. Classic Par 3, easily birdied holes. Has terrible rough in the summer. Seriously. Does have a good mix of right and lefty holes, so its good to have a forearm at White Clay. Practice it before you come though, errant shots usually mean lost plastic unless you want to dig around in the rough forever (you don't). Also this course is swarming with college kids in the spring, and you have to wait for big groups to tee off a lot of the time, before they maybe will let you play th ...

Awesome. Started playing this course when it was only halfway done like 11 holes or so that started on current hole 6. Keeps getting better and better. The full layout is epic, serious bomb after bomb but several holes that dip back in the woods to test youre accuracy as well. I really love ripping a putter on hole 12 and trying to park by the creek. This course is similar to B-wine in that it is open with elevation changes, but really ups the anty with the addition of the wooded holes, eve ...

Good Course. Not as technical as some of the newer courses like Carousel or Iron Hill though. Good course to develop distance, or learn a new disc. Avoid the rough in the summer. Its way too thick to find anything. The Beauty (4) and Hole 11 are awesome downhill shots, that both bring the creek into play. Because its so open though, I usually end up throwing the same long hyzer shot on many of the holes. It would be a little better if it forced you to adapt more, but the course does make good use of the elevation changes at the park.

I think this is easily the best course in Delaware. ( Carousel is close behind though).
Requires so many types of shots, and really emphasizes precision drives. You have to stay on the fairway. There are some chances to birdie on the front nine, but the hill can easily re-take those strokes on the back nine. Hole 17 is crazy. But awesome. Crazy awesome.
Leave your Big Distance drivers at home you really just need fairway drivers, but bring premium plastic like champion or star discs, youre DX and pro will become turnover discs, or just get shredded on the rocks.
