Positives: Multiple tees: Both pro and am tees on every hole. Level and of decent size. Same pad design as Rockness. Perfect design for this course setting. Great mix of holes: Hyzer, Anhyzer, short, long, over water or land. There are a great mix of holes on both the front and back. Water holes: I love a challenge and water holes are usually that. These are very well done since there are places to layup if you're unsure or unprepared with your distance. Signs: Quirky and fun, but inf ...

Great short course but yet challenging. Fear of being hit on every hole by another groups shot dropped my rating down.

***** UPDATE (6/2013) ***** Had to update my original post because it was a long time ago and a lot has happened at Rockness. Plus i forgot what i wrote so here goes. The big change is pads on all holes at white and blue tee locations. Now for those picky players out there, stop complaining, and second they are not concrete, which I actually think wouldn't do this course justice. They are level and natural and beautiful. Probably never heard that said about tee pads eh? I think concrete wo ...

just like in my school days i give this course a D for doodoo. that's what it feels like if it rains just a little bit on the course. i saw dogs sniffing the ground confused. baskets are old. like abe vigoda old. come to think of it, it reminds me of abe. old but funny. remember him in look who's talking? those were good times. anyway, now for those pros out there its just a bunch of aces runs and warm ups, for those like myself it can present a challenge because...you're a pro an ...

enjoyable course though it is the bane of my existence thus far in my short career. 1-3 are fairly simple which gets you thinking, "Hey, I'm gonna do well". Then comes 4 and it's all downhill for the average thrower. 10-12 are killer. hardest 3 holes in a row i've ever played which doesn't say much because I haven't been playing that long. distance and accuracy needed, of which neither i have. snowmen abound. 13-16 starts the watery fun and on some days the wind seems to grab your disc li ...

First off, I don't mind the name of this course. That's usually the first thing I look at. Is it named after some old white guy, a nabisco treat or a cute pun. Don't know the origins and actually don't care as I put up a 89 spot my first time out. I say I love a challenge so this fit my needs quite well. How come when I say I want a million dollars or an Arby's Rueben combo it doesn't happen, but a challenge, of course. Sontag is another one of those courses that teases me with two openi ...

---------------- update - April 2014 --------------------- well it's been a few years since i updated a review on here. actually, i forgot my password to recently and just didn't bother to figure it out. didn't change my review since again, up and downs. A couple holes are now more difficult and longer (#4 blue, #7 white), which makes it better for the pros. not that i'm a pro. then again, some easy options could make this course great, but it's not being done. new hole #4 is nice from th ...
