Only the Professionals will receive a payout for this event. There are plenty of events where Amateurs receive merchandise as payout, but this is not one of them.
It goes to the PDGA, the KCDG, paying for the rental of two shelters over two days, insurance, the trophies, the hole sponsorship signs, and if any is leftover it will go towards the $750 added cash for the Pro payouts.

So where is all the AM money going(beyond player packs)?

The Disc Golf Scene and PayPal also take a cut out of every registration as well.
