Many folks main complaint is the confusing layout, and while after playing a couple times that gets cleared up, I can understand why people are confused the first time through. The best way to fix this would probably be to drop the red 9 altogether, and remove/cover the red hole 6 teepad. Also an actual teepad for am hole 9 (at side of the wooded lake) would really help - I've redirected a number of folks that think they need to throw from the gold/blue hole 5 tee for the am hole 9 and that's very intimidating (and basically impossible as par 3). Obviously more signage would have a great impact as well, but I think this in tandem with removing the red 9 would dramatically reduce this issue.

I really love am hole 14 (blue/gold hole 16), but man if you ever get a tree kick to the near/left side of the stream, it is the worst mud pit, and you can at times barely walk to get your disc without losing a shoe. Very difficult to do, but if that area could get better drainage or have rock filling added, it would dramatically improve the hole.

On the blue/gold course (which I lovingly call 'the bigs") hole 9 is honestly not that fun from where the teepad is at the top of the hill. Playing blue it's par 4, but the first throw is an annoying layup down the hill before you throw the second shot across the water. If playing it as gold it's frankly hilarious as a par 3, as literally it's impossible for any pro to get a bird - they would still need to toss down a layup and then cross for par at best. I highly recommend moving the teepad down to the water edge and convert it to par 3 for both blue/gold. Intimidating for newer/am players and still a tricky execution for a pro to get a bird.

Robert, your suggestions have been noted. I appreciate your feedback. There is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes, however this stuff takes time as the parks are very busy. While you're out there though, we really appreciate if casual players could try to pick up and fallen sticks they find in the fairways to keep the short course looking good until there's movement on the longs.

Very minor suggestions - for blue/gold holes 13 and 14, I really loved the original pin placements. For 13 that was further down the hill to the last clearing before the stream. For 14 that was further back on the narrowed ridge. I understand those placements probably made the holes much harder, but imo they really made for cool approach shots. Still solid holes as is with the pin moved up, but not nearly as epic. I love this 3 hole section of the blues regardless, and sometimes even when playing the am 18 I'll take a detour after am hole 13 and run through blue holes 13-15 before continuing onto am hole 4. Lovely stretch (though blue 15 kicks my ass).

Looks like I can't edit comments, so to add to my comment for am hole 14. a bridge across the stream would be a huge improvement, even if it were just 3x solid tree trunks layed together (like on am hole 9).

Right on Andrew! I'll definitely do exactly that. Definitely realize things take time & money. Understand that I really appreciate everything that has been put into the course to date, and especially those (presumably you included) that help with maintenance/development.
