Kessler Park at Cliff Drive update - Again, some trash on the course but that will certainly be cleaned up before the event. I'll have a workday about a week before the event to make sure the course looks great. Currently, it needs some snow to melt and a mow, but other than that it's in good shape.
Again, I'm not good at maps, but on the Pictures tab is a map of the KCFDC 2021 layout. We are skipping holes 1 and 2 and adding in two other holes, an old and a new favorite. Baskets are currently in all of the tournament positions except holes 8, 9, and 16, which will be moved soon. For the tournament, all baskets will be silver Mach IIIs. This layout may be tweaked, but it's the intended final layout.
3. Short (217'/par 3)
4. Only (234/3)
5. Middle rocks (297/3)
6. New right (315/4)
7. Tunnel right (387/3)
8. Middle left (293/3)
9. Middle trees (384/3)
10. Only (309/3)
11. Long right (663/4)
12. Short (276/3)
A. Old 12. There will be painted OB right along tree line - essentially, you're on an island. Regular OB rules (NO DROP ZONE). (375/3)
13. Short pad to long. (760/4)
B. New hole across street from 13 pin playing downhill to south/left. Road is an OB river (all islands in road are OB too). Either side is safe. (387/3)
14. Long pad to middle, mando right of tree about halfway to basket. (594/4)
15. Plays to 11 left by reservoir. (574/4)
16. Middle (600/4)
17. Short (324/3)
18. Plays to 2 long pin. (481/4)
7472', par 61.
Out of Bounds: On or over any road/curb (except B, where you have to cross closed road to get to hole, which plays as a river). Over any fence. On or over any painted line. The roads often have painted lines - use the painted line to determine OB.
