Welcome to the F3 Series. F3 stands for Flexible Floating Fridays. This is a weekly Flex Start PDGA C' Tier tournament that will take place at various courses throughout Kansas City and the surrounding area. The goal is to offer some competition and raise money for multiple events and/or projects.

FAQ's

- What is the F3 Membership?
F3 Membership:
Essentially becoming an F3 Member, you are becoming a sponsor of the F3 series which once again the main goal is to fundraise for community projects. Each week, we fundraise for two projects. Most of the time as of now, it is the Midwest Amateur Championship and the Kansas City Wide Open, but we will also sprinkle in some other events/projects as they are requested.

It cost $20 to be an F3 member from April until the end of September (basically, league season). Each F3 event we will do a drawing for your choice of $25 cash or a Prize that is worth $25 or more. At the first F3 event of the month starting in May, we will do a monthly drawing for your choice of $100 cash or a prize that is worth $100 or more. On September 30th, we will do a Grand Prize drawing of $500 in cash. Depending on how many F3 members we receive, that value may go up or we may offer more prizes based on participation. Any remaining funds will be donated to the Midwest Amateur Championships

We will have the weekly drawing even if there is not an F3 event that week.

Remember even though being an F3 member, you have a chance at winning some stuff, you are also helping the community

- Is there an Ace Pot?
There is an Ace Payout, not an Ace Pot. The difference is an Ace Pot has an adjusting value based on whether an Ace has been scored or not. An Ace Payout is the same regardless of how many players are in the event or how many Aces have been hit.

If an Ace is not scored, the funds are added to the accruing Ace Payout funds.

- How does scoring work?
Every card will be required to use two forms of scoring. One will be through the PDGA website, www.pdga.com/scores and the second option can be whatever works better for your card. Paper, UDisc, another form... The PDGA Scoring is the official scoring and the only score that will be accepted.

The access code will be given at check-in for the event.

- What happens if there are ties within a division?
Any ties that fall within a payout position will have the payout divided evenly. Tiebreakers are not required.

- I need a refund, how do I submit that?
You submit for a refund using the link that you received when you registered or you can go to the disc golfs scene event page and under the registered player's tab is a choice to withdraw or edit. $4 from all entries will still be removed, even for requested refunds.

- How do I see the results after an event is over and if I received a payout?
Go to the disc golf scene page where you registered for the event. Once that event is over, it turns into a results page and will list your finished result and any payout amount you might have earned.

You can also go to the series page, which shows the list of all past and future events. Find the event in question and it will show you those details.

- How do I know where I selected for my Amateur Voucher to be used?
You would need to look at your registration receipt to see what you selected.

- I selected a store for my amateur voucher to be used, can I change it to a different store?
No, once the event is over and the payout has been submitted to a store, it cannot be transferred or moved between stores.

Any properly requested refunds prior to the event will be refunded $16 ($4 from each entry will still go towards the cause that the event is being played for) or the player can elect to have it moved to another F3 event. If a player cancels on the day of the event, the registration will be moved over to the next event. Any no-call, no-shows, forfeit their entry fee altogether.
