REGISTRATION / PLAYERS' MEETING DETAILS:
Registration will begin at 9 AM. At this time, people will be able to check in and then receive their player's packs. I ask to keep this orderly and maintain social distancing during this time and please wear a mask during any larger group functions including Registration and the Players' Meeting. Masks will not be required during the event.
All players / teams must check in. This will help me ensure the assigned holes are sufficient. If one teammate wants to grab the player's pack for their teammate, that is allowed. But they must indicate so when they check in so both players and the team can be checked in. A ScorePoint will be used to organize holes for each round, and player cards for each team will be placed at the starting hole they will be on once checked in. This will not be finalized until after Registration closes at 9:40 to be sure that don't have any no-shows which may cause adjustments to the hole assignments.
There will be a brief Player's Meeting after Registration to ensure all players understand the rules, the lay outs, and any other applicable information. Layout sheets will be provided to each player to help avoid any confusion. After the Player's Meeting, teams should go to their assigned hole with the hopes of starting Round 1 by 9:50 or 10 AM at the latest. Paper scorecards will be used, and then must be turned in after the round.
There will be a 45 minute break after Round 1 before Round 2 starts. Player's must check back in for Round 2 to see their starting hole, as some hole assignments may change. I will be trying to keep the same groupings together between rounds to minimize player contact. After Round 2, players must turn in their second round card. Final scores will be tabulated and then payouts will take place once that is completed.
For Awards and Payouts, I also ask that you wear a mask when social distancing cannot be maintained, especially when receiving any awards and payouts.
There will be a $2 Ace Fund the day of the event for those interested. If no ace is hit, a Ring of Fire will be used to decide who wins the Ace Pot. That will occur after the Awards ceremony.
Weather looks decent with no precipitation and temps ranging from the high 20's in the early part of the day to mid 40's during the afternoon. Please keep in mind there is rain in the forecast today, so there may be some muddy spots on the course.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I
See you all on Saturday!!!
Thanks for all your hard work, Larry. Looking FW to a fun event.
