And all of the local players who create the vibe for this to happen!
All players please arrive early and get checked in at the table. All players will be required to sign a Waiver concerning Liability Per College of the Siskiyous. Hole assignments will be posted on the PDGA site and available at check in. Even though you can digitally check in, please stop by to the table to sign the waiver and so I know you are here in person.
Once you are checked in, please give the people checking in some space. If you do not have a smartphone then let me know at checkin and I will get you checked in Digitally. We will provide scorecards also for each hole with all the OB Rules. Am’s will pickup their Players Pack at the next table. Come prepared with a mask to wear during check in to help with the safety precautions that the college has requested. We need to make sure to follow these guidelines. Once you are checked in, head out to your hole to warm up. Stay out of Large Groups if possible.
Check in should begin at 8:30am and conclude no later than 9:30am, again, please help the TD out and arrive early. Check in will be by the tennis courts between the Baseball fields at the back of the College. Plenty of parking and area to warm up. Tee time is 10:00am. At 9:58am you will hear the two-minute warning and then another shout for starting at 10:00am. The second Round will begin at 2:30 with the Two minute warning being at 2:28. Awards to follow shortly after the second round with the 50/50 raffle drawing being just after that.
Make sure to check with Jacob Neff who is the official TD for any special questions or concerns. During lunch, unless there are questions about the first round please give them some space to get everything in order for round two. No lunch will be provided.
Live scoring WILL BE USED for this event. Please follow these guidelines for scoring.
1. Have one person in your group go to www.pdga.com/score
2. Type in the access code: uobcos
3. Have that person load up the names of all players on the card, this can be done by PDGA number or Last Name
4. Hit Keep Score Round 1 (Or Round 2 for after lunch)
5. Adjust your starting hole to match where you are actually starting the round.
6. Click Begin Play
7. Keep Score
8. At the end of the round ALL players in the group need to approve their score. This happens by typing in their name or pdga number to approve the score when the round is finished. PLEASE DO NOT MISS THIS STEP.
9. Finalize and submit the scorecard, if you do it correctly, you don't even need to turn anything in to the tournament staff. It will provide Moe with all the information he needs to do groups for the second rounds.
10. Repeat all these steps for round 2.
Spectators are allowed but obviously be considerate of the players and also those around you in respect to the game but also our current social situation.
Below is the OB and rules for the course. Scorecards will be provided also as backups or if anyone can not use the digital score card.
