So I went and walked Dacusville yesterday to scope out our League play finale. A lot of the OB flags that were originally placed around the stream have washed out, so we have decided that the stream will play as "Optional casual relief for disc within 1 meter of stream." The only OB in play will be sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc.
We will also be playing from the white tees. Keep in mind Hole 2 and hole 12 do not have the white and blue tees lined up with each other. There is adequate signage to direct you to your tee. Just don't assume that because you see a blue tee, the white tee must be in front of it.
As an added feature, I am placing the top 5 in each division on their own lead card (if they show up.) Since this is the last league round, I thought it would be a fitting we to bring the league to the finish line. Thanks to Stephen Scoggins for the suggestion.
Thanks to Tony Fowler's ace on hole 4 at Timmons, the Ace pool now sits empty. If an Ace is not hit on Saturday, the remaining ace pool will be carried over to the summer league.
I really look forward to seeing everyone out on Saturday at our League Finale at Dacusville. Sign in starts at 7:30ish and ends at 8:45 AM. Please do not walk up carrying your discs to my table at 8:50 expecting to be let in. Get there early to guarantee your spot. Maybe we can even fill the 90 player field early so your league staff can get a better warm up in before the horn sounds. Tee times at 9:00 AM.
