Ok so I apologize for the lack of information that’s been available. The reason for this is we don’t know either. So here’s the situation. The event will happen no matter what at this point. The county will not currently allow tournaments or rentals at Hart Park. We submitted a Covid plan almost two weeks ago to be able to rent the courses. The health department is still reviewing it. We won’t have an answer until Monday October 26th and considering how close the event is the park folks may not be able to process the rental agreement in time. So that leaves us with two options. Option one is they allow us to rent the courses. Then everyone will play one course each day. Tee times will go from 7am to 2pm and we can add a large number of players from the wait list. Option two is the county doesn’t let us rent the courses. If that happens much of the flats is likely not playable due to the large number of people at Hart Park on the weekends. So then everyone will play a hybrid course made up of holes from both the flats and the hill. Everyone will play that course both days. Tee times will run 7am to 2pm again and we can maybe add around 20 people from the waitlist. So that’s where we are at folks. I do apologize but this Covid mess with the county is just something else. We’ve been in constant communication with them since August. Stay tuned for a follow up once the county makes its decision.
