Hey guys, love the course. But I’m wondering if anything can be done about casual pedestrians on hole 13. Every time I’ve played, there having been people biking down the fairway. Today there were also people with hammocks set up and kids playing by the basket, and a couple arguing while I’m trying to putt. It’s a long hole with a number of blind angles and I really don’t want to hit somebody. I know there is a caution sign but it is not very visible or stern. And if I do accidentally hit a hidden person, I don’t want to deal with them being irrational and wanting to throw my disc in the water or worse be violent. Maybe a much larger sign that shows the danger and kindly asks if people not ride bikes or generally congregate on the hole.
People who know nothing about disc golf are expecting frisbees floating through the sky, not a champion dominator coming around the corner 60 mph at head height.
Other than this, I can’t say enough good things about the course. Can’t wait to see the rest
Okay
I’ve experienced this as well during my last three visits. Some people are oblivious, so once they see what I’m doing, I don’t think they will do it again. However, I think the majority realize that it’s a disc golf fairway and they don’t care. Unfortunately, someone will likely get hurt before the park enforces anything.
