I have played for several years, but never done a trny so no rating. Any guidance on A vs B, perhaps expected score from reds on normal round?
Jamie, in order to figure out which Pool a player should be in we go by; 1: PDGA Player rating, if no rating, 2: We look up any sanctioned tournaments or sanctioned league play that a players has been in recently to look up rated rounds, then if neither 1 or 2; 3: We check to see if the player is part of a local club with league play that we can figure out an average score to estimate which Pool.
Jamie, since you are not rated and have not played in any tourneys, what is your local course? And what would you say your average score-to-par would be from the short pads?
Brad - RockRidge Park, from the shorts I would say 59 or so average, I think that would put me right around high B and Low A. I’m good with playing either
Brad - I went ahead and registered for B before slots filled. If based on last comment I should be A, can you just move me?
