I'm going to try and keep everyone updated as much as possible. I hope everyone understands this is a fluid situation.
Right now, first round Great White Short baskets. (Hole 1 Red, hole 2 white, 3 blue). Short baskets on 2, 9, 12 and 15.
Second Round, Tiger Long. (1 Blue, 2 red, 3 white), however I think we will NOT play the island for hole 2 in the second round, this is for time, that I will detail next.
Since this will be tee times, and the PDGA wants 15 minutes between starts. The first group out will need to be at 8 AM (not show up, tee off). My first round last year was 3 hours. So to be safe, allowing for 3.5 hours for the round, that puts you done at 11:30, about when the last group tees off, then you get a hour for lunch/rest, and back on the course at 1 PM. The next round is longer, so will probably last at least 3 hours, if not a bit more.
Because of the tee times and constant stream of players, I will not be playing in the tournament. If I limit the field to 52 players, then the last group would start their first round at 11 AM, their second round at 4 PM Finishing somewhere around 7-8 PM. So, I don't know how many people will register, but right now, I'm going to limit the field to 52.
This is totally off the cuff, but I think payouts will be recording the credit you would have with us, and then that can be used at a future time from our Disc Stock when we don't have as many restrictions on gatherings. The am payouts will not be redeemed that day. We do have 2 other tournaments scheduled this year. If the PDGA gives more guidance, then we will adjust.
