Wow things have changed quickly! At the beginning of February we had a great plan in place for the Illinois Open Series this year, kicking it off with an A-tier to celebrate 100 events, and finishing the year at Lemon Lake, making it #104.

With the current state of things, I do not know when we are going to be able to run any events in 2020. We considered rescheduling #100 for late July, but there are other events already scheduled at Anna Page, plus it’s very hard to plan an event properly, and make the investments needed with the current level of uncertainty. One of the reasons the IOS events run as smoothly as they do is all of the planning that takes place prior to each event.

With that in mind, I have closed registration for all IOS 2020 events. I do not want to be taking any more registrations for events that may not be happening. We are still working out what the plan may be going forward. Please be patient as we work through the various options and scenarios.

The one thing of which we are certain is that IOS #100 is postponed until 2021. The team unanimously agreed that we would prefer to delay this event so that we can do it right.

Refunds:

- Sponsors will be contacted to coordinate refunds of donations.

- For those that ordered a mini, I have already received them. Shipping is about $4. That amount will be withheld when processing refunds. If you would rather I hold onto it until we see each other, please let me know.

- For our long time IOS players who were receiving a mini as a thank you for your support, we will contact you individually. The plan was to cover this with sponsor funds (which we are most likely not going to have at this time).

- All others will receive a full refund (minus non-refundable online fees).

It is going to take some time to process all of the refunds correctly, so please be patient.
