Seeing as tonight would be our League Finale, I felt it necessary to update on plans to extend league once all of this is over.
As of right now, I have plans to try to hold the last three weeks of league to keep with the original 14 week format. Location will be determined once the current restrictions are lifted. I'd like to finish out at our current venue, The Garage Bar, but I will need to talk to them to see if it is an option. If they do allow us back, I will try for Tuesday nights, but may not be able to get that based on other activities they may have planned. Once of all of this is over, Monday Night Scrambles and league at Osborne should also resume, so the only nights out of the question will be Monday and Wednesday, as to not interfere with already running leagues. If the venue does not accept us back, I may look for another spot for those three weeks. If I can't come up with anything, it may become and Outdoor Putting League for the last three league nights. Weather should be decent, and I'm sure we can find some park space somewhere to do this. If no park space is found, my backyard will be the last resort. But we will also be limited by daylight when this happens, so if it does occur outdoors, the start time may move to 6 PM. Once I know more, I will definitely post an update and give a minimum of 1 week notice before league resumes.
If no options to resume league are found, we will end it as is and do the same payouts, basket raffle, and hold a party as originally planned. As details for all of this become available (if necessary), I will make sure everyone knows.
Also, I've yet to finish all the updates for the last week of league. Those should be coming by this weekend.
I also want to thank The Garage Bar for hosting us for this year. I hope they are an option for us next year, with or without us resuming the remainder of this year's league there.
