Sorry, I have no plans to change the divisions for the "Etowah 2020 Masters" for this year. Six other tournaments at Etowah this year have women divisions.

Sam, I respectfully ask you to reconsider your position. It's not a matter of whether there are 6 others. You have a female who's wanting to play in a Masters type event. We've worked really hard in the Atlanta area to grow the sport for the ladies. It's important to note that women ask for their divisions for a variety of reasons including earning points that won't otherwise help them if earned in mens for the most part. I greatly appreciate all you have done to build Etowah into a stellar course. Why not take it to the next step and make it completely female inclusive? Do you mind sharing your thoughts on why you won't open just a single women's division for the Masters?
I will be glad to run a "Etowah Masters for Women" tournament with you making a complete female inclusive event. Give me some dates and I will work it out and work with you on having the course ready and help with the tournament.
That's a wonderful gesture. Unfortunately, we only have a small number of Masters aged ladies which is why a couple of them were hoping to play your event. One thing that happens for ladies (outside the obvious ratings struggle playing against men and same tees on top of that) is it's help ...
