League Entry Fees (for purchase of basket and prizes to be raffled at League Party): $25
Based on having divisions that will only payout normally 2-3 spots a week, I think the League Championship fund should be discussed. I am thinking to pay out the top 5 points totals based on all players in both divisions at the end of the year rather than paying out the top 3-5 in each Pool. This will allow for higher payouts for the leagues top performers. Everybody is putting from the same layout each week, so it will be easy to track points based on scores from all pools. There will still be separate payouts each nigh for A and B Pool. We will also crown League Champions for each pool. But the payout at the end of the year will be cumulative based on how all players score each week. Any thought or objections? Please give you feedback.
Tentatively, if we average 12 people per night in A Pool and 8 in B Pool, year end payouts for Points Leaders could look like this:
A Pool (12 X 13 = $156)
1st (35%) -- $55
2nd (25%) -- $39
3rd (20%) -- $31
4th (15%) -- $23
5th (5%) -- $8
B Pool (8 X 13 = $104)
1st (35%) -- $36
2nd (25%) -- $26
3rd (20%) -- $21
4th (15%) -- $16
5th (5%) -- $5
This will be brought up at league next week and will require a group majority to change, as I've already stated the A/B Pool payouts for both groups for Points Leaders. Thanks!
