Theres a league that is rrun here every Tuesday. I’ve played in this league a few times and the TD Terry isn’t transparent at all with rules, handicaps, how much money is available in ace pots, or where all the daily entry money goes. I got put on a card with a couple regular leaguers and they told me that there is a CTP every league day and the winner gets a disc but it’s always a used disc even though Terry takes in about $20 for CTP entry every day. If the person who wins CTP doesn’t want the disc, Terry will give you $5! Five dollars!!! Apparently it’s a handicap league but if you ask the TD how he does the handicaps or what people’s specific handicaps are, he won’t tell you. Somehow him and his son win every year..? He changes rules at his will to make sure that he always comes out on top. My coworker who plays every week said that he has always done playoffs at the end of the season and that depending on regular season placement you’ll start the playoffs with a number of points. Him and his friends were top 3 this year and randomly without talking it over with the league he decided not to do playoffs and paid out himself and friends. It’s a really shady league, I would drive 20 min to come play with a coworker of mine but after he told me all of this, I won’t come back. Be warned.
