It wouldn't let us because it was saying I was rated as a pro, by the time I switched things up it was too late and we were wait listed. Any idea what that was about

All the options are unpleasant. Including the status quo. We were worried about the switch to DGS---but didn't foresee this. Not DGS's fault; the battle of putting a square peg into a round hole. We're contemplating what to do, but will need a few days to ponder it.
David, what time is the first and last day normally over? You’d have to add 50% more play time if we went to 6-somes. David Wheeler, that also wouldn’t work in match play doubles round.
You cant play doubles match play with 6. You would have to have 8 on a card. The final round of 4 man alt shot would have 12 on the card.

realized after I posted about match play and 4th rd. Cant have 4 somes by themselves,lol . Regardless, you guys should be proud that so many wanna play this format.
Final round is the least of our problems. Half the holes are unoccupied. First round is the biggest problem.
