Yes. The registration fees are what they are to cover the costs of the players pack and lunch being provided both days. The Open entry fees are high to encourage a professional and competitive environment among the best players in the state. Players Packs are Ams only. After the registration cut off people may move between divisions of the same Pro/Am classification. I.e. Someone could move from AM50 to Intermediate but not from AM50 to Open. The only exception would be if there are less than 3 people in a division.
Yes! Trophy Only plays a Pro Division for the $100 Amateur Cost and you get the full Amateur’s player Pack. You aren’t eligible for payouts with this option but it’s certainly welcome for anyone!

The entry fee paid by trophy only players should be included in the pro payouts, and the TD is under no obligation to give these players the AM player's pack. If you choose to do so it is essentially costing your event, as their fees (whatever rate the TD decides) are not going to the event but end up in the payout for the division they play in. Just FYI
I'm just attempting to clear up any confusion regarding trophy only play. It is something that hasn't exactly been consistent at events in this state and I have fielded many questions and concerns about it. As far as the PDGA is concerned, what I stated above is the proper way to go about handling trophy only entries.
