Hi Sherry, SoMo is typically the driest course in the area. It is quite literally at the top of a mountain, so the water drains off fairly quickly. There may be a few slick spots around holes 17 and 18, but nothing to be concerned about for the most part. As for carts, some of the holes are pretty rocky, but navigable with a cart. The only areas where I foresee any issue with one would be holes 1-5, and even those are workable. There is a bunch of elevation change though, so it may be best to carry instead of wheel your bag.
