I've considered it, but I just have too much going on this year to think about that and figure out how to run my first tourney. I would, however, pay someone with cash to play a sanctioned event at paw paw.
Well if you ever get the desire and time to run a tourney don't hesitate to drop me a line. I'm no expert at being a TD but am more than willing to give you advice if needed. A really good way to learn how to TD is run a Ace Race, Trilogy Challenge or something like that. Those manufacturers make it super duper easy and simple.
I think the main reason why nobody has hosted a tournament here is that it is one of the easiest courses to lose a disc on. I feel like a lot of the round would be spent backed up because of so many lost discs.
Yeah maybe. It's definitely easy to lose stuff, but things tend to be found more quickly during tournaments. It's such a good course that it would be a shame to not have one because of that.
Yes you should. ;) Seriously though running a tourney is not hard.

Then hold a tourney early in the spring before the underbrush gets real thick.
I'd be down to host a tourney there if someone wants to host me for a couple nights ha I live in Fort Wayne now.
