When’s the first meeting to discuss rules changes and league format for next summer? I think it should happen so that there can be an open forum to discuss rule changes as well as a follow up meeting for a vote.

I also don't think the league admin will be willing to make mornings and evenings two separate leagues.The only other option would be that any one playing morning and evening would have to declare at the beginning of the season which round that they are going to count mornings or evenings and that would stand for the entire season- no flipping from one to the other.
I can tell you right now that there are 10 people who will not be back next year if there are not rule changes, that is why there needs to be an open forum. Every other legitimate league has meetings and discusses how to make the league better. I agree with you that it probably won’t happen but I would like to see it happen.
Based on what I've heard and seen in the tea leaves, the number will likely be higher than 10. Getting a meeting together now as opposed to later to discuss potential rules changes would be ideal. Typically in clubs of this nature, league admin positions come up for vote periodically. Perhaps it would make more sense for that to happen prior to implementing changes......
Exactly, I’d rather get people together to discuss how to make the league better rather than have people not return and the league fall apart. Initiative just needs to be taken by those who are in charge.
I agree. All I can say is hopefully those who are in charge are also following this post and are willing to be open enough to change the rules instead of hurting the league.
If things don't change I also will not be back next year.

I know that not many people check this site during winter but this is the best time to organize things and discuss things to make the league better next year so I guess I’ll try again and see if I get a response this time about hosting s meeting to discuss changes!

At the begining of the year we asked everyone to tell us if they had any ideas or problems, to come talk to us, or to send a message. Then a plethora of times throughout the year we asked the same thing. The problem there was people liked to talk during our announcements and not listen. Even at the end of the year we asked everyone at the league party the same thing. The few people that did approach us with issues, Thank You. We appreiciated it very much. People also need to realize you can't make everyone happy all of the time. We try and accommodate to the masses vs. the problems of the few. If you have an issue with something it should be spoken of at the time of the problem to see if it can be rectified then. Waiting to discuss issues can cause more problems. You are correct about that. But you also had a chance throughout the year to come to us with these. One of the biggest issues is what division everyone belongs in. We try and put everyone in the correct division to make it as fair as possible for everyone. If we place everyone in the division by pdga rating, it would be very unfair to most. So it is based on how you shoot at this course to make it fair for everyone.

When people play the morning rounds and show up for the night round as well and when asked about what round they are taking all they say is wouldn't you like to know. Yea people would like to know for accountability reasons. The have split times is nice for some people but to be honest it's not really fair to the entirety of the league. Not everyone has the option to make it to both and if it's nice in the morning and terrible at night or terrible in the morning and nice at night it favors people that can make it to both. But back to the point, there's no accountability to if someone does show up for both sessions what round they are taking. Whether that be you either post on the board before Tues on which round you're taking or if you decide to play the first session you automatically take the first session, and post it to the board or what, but that's the biggest issue I'm hearing

That is not fair to people who work in the morning or evening and cannot play both rounds.There should not be any flip flopping from one round to the other. There were multiple weeks where either Kyle or myself asked Sara which round she was counting and all she would say is "I told Dan". If people are not willing to be upfront and honest about their round that just proves that there is something fishy going on

As for people vindicating their score or which round was taken, no one is required to validate themselves to anyone. All that is required is to tell me which round will be taken before the first round. Myself along with a plethora of others presume that some people could not handle getting jaded by a woman. You are grown men acting like petulant children. Time to muture and flourish in your adulthood.

Well I talked to Frank who played with her in the morning and he said that she did not throw a good round and there is no way she was -7. Iasked Sara multiple times which round she was counting and or what her score was in the morning round and she would not tell me. Kyle Foster also tried to ask her and she would not tell him either. If she had nothing tohide then why not be upfront about what the score was or which round she was counting? I'm not stupid thats why I'm not playing leagues anymore, you can take advantage of someone else.

I am not the only person to notice that things (scores) did not seem right. Phil , Kyle, Scott, Ron , Jim, even Kirby when he was playing all mentioned that that things did not seem right. I knew I was going to see you at the course and I did not say anything because I was actually trying to avoid the drama. It is not worth the trouble it would cause. As for your group I hope you change the way it is conducted or other people will eventually notice the same things that we all did. Other than that I hope the club is successful. I honestly have no hard feelings about it I am just not going to subject myself to it anymore, it,s not worth it.I can play for free. This conversation is over.
