@JB - you are so correct. Frost last year was an issue but it wasn't this year. The unexpected format change was strictly a daylight issue. During the 1st round our group was standing on the 10th tee when the 1st Saturday of the month 1:00 pm horn went off. That was 2 1/2 hours for 10 holes. I knew then if the rest of the day played out like the 1st 10 holes the 2nd round would have ended around 8 or 8:30, hence the format change. I know it wasn't cool but we all finished the half 2nd round and Ace Pool throw off in the daylight. This was a good move in my opinion. Now, if the golf carts had lights :-) ... For your 2nd point about the food issue. I think we already have 2 changes planned to fix this issue. I do not ever see this happening again...
