Spent 4 hours today weed whacking. Did 2’s long&short pins, 12’s long pin.
14 was the bear. Did the whole fairway/ along the shoreline and around both long and short pins.
There is still some pruning that needs done along the shoreline and trash cleanup thanks to the fishermen.
15 will be the next focus.
A few other things that need done are;
Trash cleanup on holes 5,6,10,12,14,15,16. thanks to the fishers.
Clean up the gap on 16 from the tee to the lake and also the shoreline on the other side.
17&18 could also use some more weed whacking around trees and along the edges of the fairway.
Or if you’re just out there playing pick up fallen limbs/ branches and throw them off to the side,
It amazes me that people who play the course regularly just walk by that stuff.
I will get out there next week avid get some things done. I have that whole week off
I put around 3.5 hours today, started picking up the broken glass and trash on #1 short tee pad to the short basket and filled 2 discs with glass. Then on to hole #2 large stair area to the short basket and filled up another 5 discs with glass. Jeremy C. joined me and we picked up trash and moved sticks off of all of the fairways. I also pruned the walk ways to make them cart friendly. I hit the Drop Zone on 6 with weed eater. Great work on 14 Matt, it looks really nice! My one goal for the day was interrupted on 16. Whilst weed eating around the long tee pad I disturbed a hornets nest I believe on the back side of the bench. 3 large ones shot up, I jogged almost to the short tee pad and one was still following me. I snuck back up after awhile to grab my stuff. So beware. We filled up a kitchen size trash bag, and all of the white trash bins are overflowing. 35 pounds of glass.
Sounds good Dave and Dave. I’ll have more for us to do. I also chopped the high brush behind the long pin on 15 by the steps. I have a cutting blade for the weed wacker that is very useful for that high stuff. I’d also like to clean the shoreline up on 16 between the short tee and the ... more

I’d also like to clean the shoreline up on 16 between the short tee and the greens, will make it easier to find your disc if you hyzer out early from the long tee. And by popular demand we are going to get rid of the on
OB moat on 15, when it fills up with water we’ll play it as casual
I worked on the couse last night. Items: weed wacked and pruned path in front of #1 long tee. Short path between 2 to 3. Path between 5 to 6. Pathway leading up to 15 short tee. Brush tunnel in front of 15s short tee. Picked up trash,glass and sticks along course Short Tee to Short Baskets. Threw trash from 18s bench in the big green dumpster.
Things I noticed: we need to keep replacement trash bags in the bottom of the trash bins (18 needs one now). 9s trash been needs empted (new bag when that happens). Jeremy C. noted that it seems that if we had more of the white trash bins out there maybe more of the trash on the course would end up ... more

Jeremy C. noted that it seems that if we had more of the white trash bins out there maybe more of the trash on the course would end up in them. I still saw Hornet (I think they are hornets(they are big)) activity last night under the right side of 16s bench(looking at it from the tee pad). Path between 17 short basket to 18 short tee needs hit.
I’ll get some bags to put in the white bins
