Thanks to all who attended and helped out at the 2018 Shootout. It was interesting this year...the "big guns" were gone early. Marty Peters was the winner over Miles Hansel on the last hole. Dan Treece was third, Eric Dingman (AM 2 champ) was fourth, and Freddy Flores (AM 3 raffle winner) was fifth. Andrew Marwede shot three straight rounds in the 1020 neighborhood to win the "regular" portion of the tournament (50 south, 48 north, 49 south). Our food vendor, Drive Thru Q, was really good on Saturday, and our Saturday afternoon band of high schoolers jammed some jazz and light rock. We had a bit of rain Saturday, but it was mainly during lunch. Thanks to our Parks and Rec Director Jaymes MacDonald. We are placed with great maintenance at the two courses in Three Rivers, and our other county course, Deadwood at Cade Lake, is also a solid course...different than Meyer Broadway, but good in it's own right. Already thinking about next year. Will probably have the AMs start later in the Sunday round so we can finish up closer to the same time. Again, thanks to all who attended and helped.
meant blessed with great maintenance, not "placed"
You could just have Ams play Cade Lake third round and with travel time, probably would work out a bit closer on time :)
