Back at it this week after last week's cancellation.
Taking an idea from another local club, the details are pretty easy to follow. Being the round before Christmas, I think it would be fun to host a gift exchange.
Bring a new disc(or discs if they are lower level plastic) valued around $15....wrapped of course. Discs should be new, non-inked, and unthrown. We will play our league round and then at the conclusion, gifts will be selected....winning scores from the round will have first choice at the "gifts" that were brought (assuming that they participated and brought one themselves)....2nd place will go next, and so on until all gifts have been selected. We have done this for the past few years I think things have gone well. In addition to that, who does not like getting some new disc golf gear? Please let me know if you have any questions.
Will have merchandise on hand along with LEDs and hand warmers for those who may need them.
Lastly, there are some deep spots out there on the course. I would suggest you test your LEDs and maybe even tape some ribbon to your discs. There were about 40 players out at Bandemer Saturday and there were some lost discs in the snow.
