Ok so now that the rains have returned with a vengeance this weekend we get to watch the river levels from here on out.
So it appears that the entrance road will be at or under flood stage as of Sunday afternoon.
So be prepared to start parking at the ferry entrance and walking in to the course.

Rumor has it that there are talks about raising the main entrance road at some point.

Several contractors surveyed the site to prepare bids for the state but no timeline. I know someone who works for one of the contractors, he was telling me about it.

Wheatland Ferry closed WHEATLAND - The Wheatland Ferry is closed due to high water, according to the Marion County Public Works Department.

No. Because ferry entrance will be open. It was ONLY the ferry that was down due to fast raising water.
