sadly, this course is in shambles. Late summer, 8 of the 18 holes are so overgrown they are basically unplayable. The park obviously puts little to no work on this course. sad b/c this course is fun to play when i'm visiting home.
Unfortunately the few of us locals who volunteer their time have almost given up on this. You are correct, the city does nothing to the course except remove fallen trees, and even that is half ass. I've reached out many times but they don't seem to care. I'm afraid if to many complaints pour in that they will just remove the course.
too bad, that is such a nice little course. it would be a shame to loose it.
