Was just curious about the advance class. I thought if your listed as a professional and have taken money, you were not allowed to play in amateur only events.
Klye, it is not my definition, if you read the PDGA tour player classification & Divisions. A player relinquishes amateur status by registering as a pro, or by competing in a event as a pro and accepting cash awards.. I know they are exceptions allowed.
that is not necessarily true. There are PDGA guidelines for Pros playing AM please refer to: http://www.pdga.com/files/playerdivisiongrid_v10302016.pdf
Just saying it should not be called an amateur only event if pros are allowed.
It is an amateur only event.
It is an amateur only event... but the pdga definition of amateur is different than your definition

sorry, there are exceptions allowed
Below 970 is still able to be an AM.. I think that's good... if you're cashing and rated below 970, you shouldn't be forced to play open all the time
Also there is only 1 player who meets this criteria.. not a big deal
